Betsoft has basically gone back to the basics with this release, and Primal Wilderness offers nothing we haven’t seen plenty of times before. The game follows in the footsteps of the, in our opinion, superiorPrimal Hunt, but both the math model and the features are less exciting in this sequel. The forest animal visuals are decent, with a dangerous looking bear on the right-hand side.
The bear is the top-tier symbol as well, and the base game is about as barebones as it gets. Wilds can land on the 3 middle reels, and there are no other features to keep you going between bonus round triggers. The free spins feature comes with x2 or x3 multiplier wilds, and this is how you’re most likely to close in on the mediocre3,310x potential.
The premium symbols pay between 2.5 and 7.5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the top-tier Bear symbol pays even when only 2 of a kind land on a payline. First of all, it’s annoying that you’re not allowed to spin with a bet size of €/£1. This is hardly too much to ask in this day and age, and the fixed image of a screaming bear is a tad too much when it’s also repeated as a symbol. In addition, we didn’t really like the falling leaves animations you get per spin, but other than that the visual presentation is decent.
The game itself is super simple, and the 1,024 paylines means that you can, in theory, crack the3,310x potentialfrom a single base game spin. Your chances are increased in the bonus round though, since you get x2 and x3 multiplying multiplier wilds. Primal Hunt- is a pretty similar release from Betsoft, as indicated by the title, and it’s a far better alternative overall. You get stacks of wilds and top-tier lion symbols, and the bonus round comes with stacks of x2 or x3 multiplier wilds. The 96.1 % RPT is significantly higher, the volatility is a tad less brutal and you can win up to 4,420x your stake.
Wolf Call- is a North American animal-themed installment from SpinPlay, and diamond wilds are collected. This may trigger the 5,000x diamond jackpot game, and you get multiplier wilds if they land in power range positions. You get up to x5 multiplier wilds in the bonus round, and the max win is a solid 10,000x your stake.
Kodiak Kingdom- is a visually pleasing Just For The Win release set in the untamed Alaskan wilderness, and the global win multiplier increases by +1 per multiplier wild you land on the same spin. The global multiplier never resets in the bonus round, and you can win up to 25,000x your stake.
